CANTON -- Commercial Press will move to a new location and expand its offerings in February.

Tracy and David Charleson have been running the print, copy and design shop for 23 years. For the past 13 years they have been located on the Cowan Road, but Tracy Charleson said the business has outgrown the 3,000 square foot building. She said the shop will move to 6589 U.S. Highway 11 in early to mid-February.

“We’ve outgrown this place,” she said.

Charleson said the new location is 8,000 square feet. She said the new space will allow for additional services.

“We do vehicle graphics and decals. We have for a while, but as soon as we get in the new place we will be able to apply them for our customers,” she said. “We’re also expanding our line of banners and large format signs.

Charleson said the shop will also offer warehousing services for some customers.

Commercial Press Ink. employs five people, including the Charlesons, but plans are underway to hire at least two more as the operation expands.

“We are very excited about the new location,” she said. “We’d love to have people come in and see what we offer.”

Charleson said a grand opening is planned in the spring, but no date has been set yet.

“We want to get settled in and wait for the weather to change.”
