MADRID – A Canton woman faces charges for aggravated unlicensed operation following an accident at 3:06 p.m. Thursday on State Rt. 310 near the Planty Road that caused her vehicle to overturn on an embankment, St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies report.
Racheal P. Hurlbut, 28, and her three children were not injured in the accident, which allegedly occurred when her Dodge Durango left the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned.
Deputies said an investigation revealed that Hurlbut’s license had multiple suspensions. She was charged with a misdemeanor count of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to keep right.
Hurlbut was arraigned in Madrid Town Court and released to answer the charges at a later date.
