CANTON -- The Wild Bears, a support group, from Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country, meets monthly to offer social support to one another along with making crafts.
This fall the group earned enough money by selling beaded jewelry and scarves to purchase two Thanksgiving turkeys, they in turn donated to families in need.
They also gathered non-perishable goods for complete dinners. The group is currently working on projects to further community support and seeking new members.
For more information on the group call Rona McGrath at 386-1155.
