Canton school board approves appointments, wages

CANTON -- The Canton Central School Board of Education approved several appointments Thursday night.

• Amy Belonge, hourly clerk, effective retroactively to Nov. 16 at a rate of $11.10 per hour.

• Amy Belonge, substitute custodial worker, effective retroactively to Nov. 16 at a rate of $11.25 per hour.

• Allison Bond, hourly teacher aide, effective retroactively to Nov. 19 at a rate of $11.10 per hour, per the needs of the student.

• Nicole Daniels, teacher aide, effective retroactively to Nov. 19 at a prorated salary of $15,500, pending MOA approval.

• Catherine Giglio, student tutor for the 2018-19 school year.

• Hunter Hitchman, hourly teacher aide, effective retroactively to Nov. 26 at a rate of $11.10 per hour, per the needs of the student.

• Isabella Jaskowski, student lifeguard, effective retroactively to Nov. 16 at a rate of $11.10 per hour.

• Betsy Kepes, musical accompanist for the 2018-19 school year, at a stipend of $1,217.

• Michael Haycook, unpaid assistant modified and varsity wrestling coach for the winter 2018-19 season, 3 years/step 3 (modification to the appointment approved Nov. 1).

• Rachel Sanderson, girls modified basketball coach for the winter 2018-19 season, 1 year/step 1, at a stipend of $2,012.

• Stephen Conrad Stuntz, unpaid assistant boys swimming coach for the winter 2018-19 season, 1 year/step 1, pending final administrative clearance.

• Agnes Toth, boys and girls modified indoor track coach for the winter 2018-19 season, 14 years/step 5, at a stipend of $3,033. (modification to the appointment approved on Nov. 1).

• Jennifer Wilcox, teaching assistant, probationary tenure track position, effective Jan. 7, 2019, through Jan. 6, 2023, unless extended in accordance with the law, at a prorated salary of $22,049 (Step 1).

• Kira Royce, parent representative for Committee on Special Education for the 2018-19 school year.

• Substitutes for positions they are certified or qualified: Cynthia Curtis, Mary-Kait Mace, Angelina Vecchio, Robyn Watson and Jennifer Wilcox.
