POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s obstetrics and gynecology practice plans to move from Outer Main Street to the former orthopedics and sports medicine space within the Cheel Medical Campus at 49 Lawrence Ave.
The phone and facsimile numbers will remain unchanged. Originally, the practice had planned to start seeing patients at the new location last Monday, but they relocation has been delayed due to work on new lab facilities at Cheel Medical Campus. An amended date for the relocation was not available.
Tara Swinwood, a nurse practitioner currently at the 80 E. Main St. building in Canton, will also be making the move to join the OB/GYN practice at Cheel Medical Campus. Dr. John Batich and Dr. Peter Dargie are remaining in Canton at 80 E. Main St. OB/GYN practice.
The move was made possible by the centralization in Canton of the hospital’s orthopedics providers earlier this year. The renovated space provides a more spacious waiting area for women, their partners, and families.
Potsdam OB/GYN providers include Tatiana DiCoby, DO, Eleazar O’Garro, MD, DO, Laurie Mousaw, Certified Nurse Midwife, and Noelle Polniak, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and, as of June 26, Nurse Practitioner Tara Swinwood.
