POTSDAM – A Canton parolee has been charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing from the Potsdam Walmart two days in a row.
St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies arrested Scott A Dennis, 42, 15D Railroad Ave., following their investigation of a shoplifting complaint from the store’s asset protection manager.
Dennis allegedly went to the store on Dec. 3 and 4, stealing an X-Box 360, PlayStation 3 wireless controllers and headset, and a pair of work boots.
The total value is put at $468.85.
Dennis was charged with petit larceny and aggravated unlicensed operation, and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, held for an alleged violation of the terms of parole.
He is due in Potsdam Town Court Dec. 13 to answer the charges.
