The Food Bank of Central New York is seeking votes for a St. Lawrence County food pantry to receive a $60,000 grant.

The Canton Neighborhood Center is eligible for funding through Wal-Mart's "Fight Hunger Spark Change" program.

People with a Facebook account can go to www.walmart.com/fighthunger once per day and vote. Voter verification is used with a Facebook account, so only those who use the social media are eligible. Voting resets every 24 hours, so people can make a pick daily.

The contest ends Oct. 5.

At the end, the 50 food banks with the most votes will each receive $60,000.
