CANTON -- Local Cub Scout Pack 11 recently collected about 100 blankets and donated them to the Church and Community Program and The Neighborhood Center.
The pack thanked Hair Designs in Canton for their donation of blankets, First Presbyterian Church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, First Baptist Church, Canton United Methodist Church and St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility who made blankets when they saw that the Cub Scouts were collecting.
Pack 11 hopes to do the collection again next yea, said a press release from Pam Smith, pack committee member.
Canton Cub Scouts Pack 11 is a new pack chartered by the Canton United Methodist Church and is open to all boys in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
