POTSDAM – A nurse at Canton-Potsdam Hospital is accused of taking hospital narcotics and using them herself.
Margaret A. Dossert, 53, of Potsdam was arrested last Thursday by Potsdam Village Police, aiding an investigation by the state Health Department’s Bureau of Narcotics Enorcement.
Dossert has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and a felony count of first-degree falsification of business records.
According to police, the investigation revealed that Dossert had been falsifying records to allow herself narcotic pain medications.
She was released pending her appearance in court today to answer the charges.
