OGDENSBURG -- Busters Sports Bar and Restaurant raised more than $2,000 for Hurricane Sandy victims at a recent fundraiser.
The restaurant recently held a spaghetti dinner and silent auction raise money for victims of the storm that devastated much of southern New York.
In a news release issued by the restaurant, organizers thanked the local businesses that contributed to the event.
"We are proud to announce that with the help of our customers and local businesses who donated to the auction we were able to raise $2184 to donate," organizers said in the release.
The following local businesses contributed to the event: The New Media Post, Gary & Aileen’s, Howland Pump, Monroe Muffler, Mort Backus, Bill’s Tire Center, Just Unique, Salon 1020, Sholette’s Liquors, High Maintenance, Tonya’s Hair Salon, Alan Dupree (Rustic Redneck), Jreck’s, Basta’s, Hair Express, Price Chopper, Hair trends, Dirty Gringo, Jacqueline Jean Photography, Farrand’s Flowers, Austin Layng, Northern Physical Therapy, Pepsi Cola-Ogdensburg, Desserts by Rosemary, Cappiones, Inc., Simple Pleasures, Donnie Morley, and Shawn & Suzie Hinman.
