BRASHER FALLS – A man with a baseball bat is accused of armed robbery at a Brasher Falls grocery store.
Michael G. Prior, III, 18, is charged with first-degree robbery and has been sent to the county lockup on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond for bail.
Prior entered the Tri-Town IGA, 904 State Rt. 11C, with a baseball bat and demanded money, stole a donation jar, and left the store, according to state police.
Prior was arraigned before Town of Brasher Justice Mahoney, who sent him to the county lockup.
He is due in Brasher court Oct. 19.
