BRASHER — A Brasher Falls resident was arrested after threatening to “shoot up the school and burn it down” on Wednesday, according to state police.
Troopers responded around 1:30 p.m. to St. Lawrence Central School following a report of threatened violence at the school, officers said.
Makayla M. Robinson, 17, was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, troopers said.
She was witnessed yelling threats in the hallway that she would shoot up the school and burn it down.
Robinson was ordered by school officials to leave school grounds, which she did, troopers said.
She was arraigned following her arrest in Massena court and released under the supervision of probation, officers said.
She is to answer the charge in court June 20.
