Andrew M. Francis, 28, Brasher Falls, was charged Tuesday with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree criminal possession.
Francis reportedly brandished a knife during the robbery and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The incident took place around 11:25 p.m. July 23.
Police reached out to the public for assistance during the investigation.
Potsdam police were assisted at the scene by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and SUNY Potsdam Police.
Francis was arraigned in Potsdam court by Judge James Mason and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
