BOMBAY — State police said they arrested Jennifer A. Collins, 29, Bombay, for stealing money from two local Girl Scout troops while she was a Girl Scout leader.
Collins was found to have used two debit cards from Girl Scout bank accounts to make approximately $8,143 worth of unauthorized personal purchases, officers said.
She was found to have made purchases and transactions at numerous local stores, businesses, and restaurants from May 1 to Sept. 8, police said.
Collins was charged with third-degree grand larceny.
She was arraigned in Malone court where she was released under the supervision of probation.
Collins is scheduled to appear in Bombay court Nov. 14 at 4:30 p.m.
