NORFOLK -- The American Legion Riders of Post #925 raised $3,576 for the American Legion Legacy Foundation Fund through their recent charity ride.

David Davis, the director for the New York State American Legion Riders, recently rode to Norfolk to present a plaque of appreciation to the Riders of Post #925

The Legacy Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001.

They will be raising money this year for “Train A Dog, Save A Warrior,” which trains service dogs for veterans.

They will hold a charity ride July 9 from the Norfolk American Legion, with registration starting at 9 a.m., and a dinner to follow.

Membership in the Legion Riders is open to all members of the American Legion family.
