Congressman William Owens appeared on CNBC this morning to discuss the need to address the debt ceiling and spending cuts.
The 23rd District Democrat told the audience for the cable channel's Worldwide Exchange program that "the American people are asking us to act like adults in order to address the debt ceiling question," adding that economic disaster could ensue if the cieling is not raised.
