An alleged methamphetamine manufacturer, with Massena ties, has been arrested hours after police issued a media release seeking public help.
Susan J. Filion, 47, of Redford, was charged on a bench warrant for second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
Troopers said Filion was a frequent visitor of the Massena area, said Filion was located at 10 Macomb St., Plattsburgh.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Adirondack Drug Task Force into Filion manufacturing methamphetamine at her residence at 243 Priest Road in Redford, New York on Sept. 10.
Troopers said a search warrant is being obtained for the residence and the DEA Clandestine Lab Team will assist in the execution of the warrant.
Filion is also being charged with second-degree bail jumping, troopers said.
Clinton County District Attorney Andrew Wylie has been advised and is assisting in the investigation, police said.
Additional charges may be pending the results of the search warrant.
The Adirondack Drug Task Force is made up of members from the Drug Enforcement Agency, the New York State Police, the Plattsburgh Police Department, the Clinton County Sheriff's Department, US Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations, US Department of Homeland Security and the Clinton County District Attorney's Office.
