MORRISTOWN -- Three were injured Wednesday following a state Route 37 accident that also led to false personation charges, according to state police.

Troopers say a 2014 Chrysler 300 operated by Denver A. Chamberlain, 51, of Ogdensburg, was traveling south on State Route 37 approaching the intersection with State Route 12.

Troopers say Chamberlain failed to yield the right of way to a 2007 Chevrolet Impala operated by Dawn F. Linke, 54, of Wisconsin who was traveling east on State Route 12.

Linke’s vehicle struck Chamberlain’s vehicle on the passenger side. Linke was transported to Claxton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg for chest pain.

Chamberlain was also transported to Claxton Hepburn Hospital for shoulder pain. A passenger in Chamberlain’s vehicle, Jamie L. Prevo, 33, of Syracuse, was transported to Claxton Hepburn Hospital for a facial injury.

Another passenger Antwan J. Alexander, 29, of Syracuse was not injured.

While investigating the collision, troopers say Alexander originally provided a false name and date of birth. His real identity was later determined.

Alexander was arrested and charged with false personation and obstructing a governmental administration. He was arraigned in the Town of Morristown Court and was remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.

Chamberlain was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign, returnable to Morristown Court on a later date and time.
