Freshman forward Nicole Hansen (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley) led the Bears with eight points and sophomore guard Drew Dufrane (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) finished with seven.
The Lakers opened the contest with a 10-2 run and held a 15-6 advantage after 10 minutes. Freshman forward Hannah Marcellus (Potsdam, N.Y./Madrid-Waddington) netted the first two points for Potsdam and Hansen had the other two.
The Bears outscored Oswego 9-7 in the second quarter and trailed 22-15. Dufrane registered five points in the quarter and freshman center Naya Walters (Bronx, N.Y./Women's Academy of Excellence) and Marcellus contributed two points apiece.
The Lakers put 18 points on the board in the first 5:11 of the third quarter to put the game out of reach at 40-21 after 30 minutes. Hansen scored four points and freshmen guard Carly Shear (Newark, N.Y./Newark) and added a bucket.
The Bears outscored Oswego again in the fourth, 11-9, but had too much ground to make up. Junior forward Rachael Windhausen (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) paced the Lakers with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four blocks. Senior guard Courtney Ameele (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) recorded 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Senior forward Zana Dillard (Rochester, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta) scored five points and grabbed 14 boards.
