First-year golfer William Wilson shot a 77 to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team on day one of the Nazareth Invitational hosted by Nazareth College at the Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, New York on Saturday afternoon.
Wilson, listed as the Saints third golfer, shot just six over par on the par-71 course tying to sit in fourth place after day one.
Classmates Bryan McLennan and Wesley Dixon both shot an 80, nine over par, to tie each other for 10th place.
St. Lawrence wraps up day one with a combined 319 for second place in the tournament. Oswego State sits in the top spot with a 313, while Hobart takes third with a 327.
