Both the St. Lawrence University men's and women's cross country teams are both in the top-10 of the USTFCCCA national poll this week, and you can watch the Saints compete at the 2010 Paul Short Invitational on Friday!

The multi-division Paul Short Invitational's gold race will feature some of the premier talent in Division I, II and III men's and women's cross country. The men's event begins at 11:00am, while the women's race will follow at 11:45am. You can watch the event live by clicking here.

Meanwhile, it is the second consecutive week that both St. Lawrence cross country teams are in the top-10 nationally. The women's team climbed one spot to No. 2 in the nation behind only Middlebury College, and the Saints picked up two first place ballots. The Scarlet and Brown are slotted ahead of Washington (MO), Williams, Geneseo State, Wisconsin Oshkosh, Johns Hopkins, UW Eau Claire and MIT, the schools that round out the top-10.

On the men's side, the Saints stayed put at No. 8 and are only a dozen points behind UW Platteville for the No. 7 slot in the country. North Central (IL) remained the unanimous No. 1, followed by Washington (MO), Allegheny, Haverford, Geneseo State, Calvin and UW Platteville. Following rounding out the top-10 behind St. Lawrence were Brandeis and Carnegie Mellon.
