POTSDAM -- Junior Sara Artus (St. Regis Falls, NY) and freshman Lani Durio (Austin, TX) helped lead the Clarkson University Volleyball team to the Hartwick Invitational title this past weekend, and on Monday they were further rewarded by gaining Liberty League Weekly Honors.
Artus, who was named Liberty League Co-Performer of the Week, was chosen for the Hartwick Invitational's All-Tournament team, recording 54 kills with a .322 hitting percentage overall.
She also added an ace and a block, as well as 17 digs. She hit .480 (12-0-25) in a straight set win over CCNY.
Durio, who was picked as Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Week, made her collegiate debut this past weekend at the Hartwick Invitational, producing 109 assists over the course of four matches (7.79/gm). She also added in 22 digs, 10 kills, and 4 aces.
The Golden Knights began the season 4-0 and look to continue that perfect streak this weekend at the North Country Invitational held at Potsdam State's Maxcy Hall.
