OSWEGO -- The SUNY Potsdam cross country team competed at the Pat Peterson Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The women ran to an 8th place finish and the men were 12th. Senior Hollie Heimer posted the best time for the women, running the 5k race in 22:10.
Freshman Rebecca Dukett finished in 23:46, while senior Shannon Garvey and sophomore Mackenzie Lamanna had times of 23:47 and 26:14, respectively.
Sophomore Neil Grayson set the pace for the men, finishing with an 8k time of 31:44. He was followed by junior George Devita at 32:24. Senior Brandon Lashomb finished in 34:08 and freshman Brett Wunsch in 34:22 rounding out the top Potsdam runners.
The Bears return to action in the Panther Invitational on Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. hosted by Middlebury College.
