Syracuse, NY – The SUNY Canton baseball team scored eight unanswered runs to turn a 3-2 deficit into a 10-3 win against host Cazenovia College on Wednesday on the campus of Onondaga Community College.
Chris Lee (Brooklyn, NY) had a strong outing on the mound taking a 2-1 lead into the seventh inning. The Wildcats (3-11) brought a pair of baserunners across to take a 3-2 lead but Jake St. Mary (Brushton, NY) entered the game and did not allow a single run over the final three innings as the SUNY Canton bats exploded for eight late runs.
St. Mary earned his first collegiate win on the mound tossing three innings and striking out five batters. Travis Schindler (West Islip, NY) and Seth Douglas (Reedsburg, WI) had three hits apiece for the Roos (8-15).

The baseball team has a quick turnaround as it will travel crosstown to play St. Lawrence University in a single, nine-inning game beginning at 4:15 p.m.
