Sophomore Aimee Caligiore followed up her best round as a collegian with a solid 77 to win medalist honors and junior teammate Melissa Snizek was second, one stroke back, as St. Lawrence University's women's golf team won the St. Lawrence Collegiate Invitational for the third straight year.

The Saint women established a 10-stroke lead over New York University in Saturday's opening round on the par 72, 5846 yard St. Lawrence University Golf Course, shooting an opening round of 315 and the two teams each shot counting scores of 318 on Sunday as the Saints won with a two day total of 633 to NYU's 643.

The best four scores among five players on a team count toward the team total in each round.

Caligiore took the medalist trophy and earned her first collegiate tournament title with the best individual score of the tournament with a 73 in the opening round and her 77 on Sunday tied for the second best round of the day and gave her a 150 total. Snizek, who was one stroke back with a 74 on Saturday, also shot 77 and finished at 151.

Middlebury's Flora Weeks had Sunday's best round with a 74 and finished third overall with a 155 total. Senior Alair Muzzatti gave the Saints three players in the top five with a tie for fourth with rounds of 79 and 80 for a 159 total while Kerrin Ehrensbeck matched her best collegiate round with an 84 on Sunday and finished with a 173 total, 16th overall in a 44-player field.

Caroline Cushman was the fifth player for the Saints and shot a 117 on Sunday.

The Saints, who will play at the Dartmouth Invitational next weekend, topped a nine-team field with Middlebury following NYU with a 658 total, Cortland fourth at 694 and Ithaca fifth at 735.
