St. Lawrence University's Sean Flanagan and Matt Weninger earned two of ECAC Hockey's three weekly awards on Monday with Flanagan being named MSX Skates ECAC Hockey Player of the Week and Weninger earning the MSX Skates ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week award.

Flanagan, returning to action after missing all of last season, scored two goals and assisted on two others in his first game since February of 2009 as the Saints and Minnesota State skated to a 5-5 tie on Friday. Flanagan also had an assist on the game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw in Saturday night's rematch, giving him a five point weekend. His first goal on Friday was his first since the 2008 playoffs and his four point night doubled his previous career best.

Weninger made his collegiate debut in Saturday's 1-1 tie and stopped 37 of 38 shots to earn the Goaltender of the Week honors. He has a 0.93 goals against average and a .974 save percentage after one game.

The Saints return to action at Ferris State Friday and Saturday.
