The St. Lawrence University Novice 8 boat won its race at the Liberty League Championship Regatta Friday afternoon on Saratoga Lake near the campus of Skidmore College.
The novice boat featuring Caleigh Donahue, Marija Jukic, Addie Brendel, Bieke Bekker, Grace Riehl, Amanda Dupuis, Alyssa Stahrr and coxswain Zoe Soule, won by a margin of nearly 15 seconds over RIT with a winning time of 8:34.50.
The Varsity 8 finished fifth just missing fourth place by less than four seconds. The coxswain was Cox, Yukiko McQueeney and the rowers were Hannah Durant, Mikayla Thomas, Maya Williams, Eleanor Jones, Lyndsay Pratt, Michela Morrissey, Jennifer Longwell and Gabrielle Schreffler.
