The Women's Rowing team at St. Lawrence University had a boat bring home the Novice Boat of the Year Award from the Liberty League as announced Monday by the league office. Senior Yukiko McQueeney earned All-Liberty League honors for the Saints.
The St. Lawrence novice crew is made up of: Alyssa Stahrr, Amanda Dupuis, Grace Riehl, Erin Nason, Bieke Bekker, Addie Brendel, Marija Jukic, Caleigh Donahue and coxswain Taylor Goldman.
McQueeney was the coxswain for the top St. Lawrence Varsity 8 boat that finished third at the New York State Championships Petite Final and took first place at the Mayor's Cup races in Tampa, Florida in March.
