St. Lawrence University forward Hannah Miller '18 is one of 21 players selected to compete for the Canadian National Women's Development Team at the 2018 Nations Cup in Füssen, Germany, from January 3-6.
The Nations Cup will feature national teams from Canada, Finland, Germany, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland.
Players were selected by Melody Davidson, Hockey Canada's general manager of national women's team programs, and St. Lawrence Hall of Famer Gina Kingsbury '04, director of national women's teams programs for Hockey Canada, along with the coaching staff.
"Hannah has worked hard to get herself to this point and we're happy that she will have the opportunity to represent her country at this level," said head coach Chris Wells '92.
Miller, who recently became the 28th St. Lawrence women's hockey player to reach 100 career points, leads the Saints with 12 assists and is tied for second with 17 points.
She will miss both of St. Lawrence's games against Lindenwood in Anaheim, California, as a result of her participation with the Canadian National Women's Development Team, but will return for the remainder of the season.
