A combined effort led the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team to a weekend sweep of SUNY Geneseo and RIT on Saturday afternoon in Rochester, New York.
The Saints started the day with a 9-0 win over SUNY Geneseo at RIT, with all six singles matches decided in straight sets, and finished the day with a 6-3 win over RIT.
Both Caroline Reilly and Haley Sherrard posted a 6-0 win in the first set against their opponents at No. 4 and No. 6, respectively.
Katherine Apt and Caroline Reilly posted an 8-0 win over RIT at No. 2, while Maddie Nasch and Haley Sherrard recorded an 8-1 win at No. 3.
Apt swept Claire Casalnova 6-0, 6-0 in the second singles match of the day at No. 3 and Reilly posted a second 6-0 win against Kristen Zablonksi at No. 4.
