The St. Lawrence University volleyball team rebounded from Tuesday's loss against Clarkson to defeat Liberty League opponents RIT and Bard in Annandale-On-Hudson, NY on Friday night. The Saints topped the Tigers, 3-2, despite falling behind by two sets (18-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-13), then followed that win with a 3-0 sweep of the Raptors in the nightcap by the scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-13.
Senior Liz Grogan led the Saints in the match against Bard, recording 14 kills. Sophomore Anna Kassab tallied 24 assists.
St. Lawrence, now 10-7 (2-1 Liberty League), will play Vassar College tomorrow, Sept. 24 at 11:00 am.
