St. Lawrence University's riding team stands sixth among 13 teams heading into the final two events of the 2014 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national championship show in Harrisburg, PA.

The Saints, back-to-back national champions, have nine points with 14 points still available and are still in the running for at least a tie for the title. Centenary College leads with 23 points and the Savannah College of Art and Design is second with 21. The Saints need to win both open over fences and open on the flat competitions on Saturday and hope that Centenary and SCAD are shut out to win their third straight national crown.

Jessie Lewis earned four points toward the Saint team total in Friday's first event of team competition, placing third in intermediate equitation over fences, jumping the Saints up to fourth in the team competition with four events to go.

Manon Edeline finished just out of the points with a seventh in walk-trot equitation in Friday's second team event and the Saints did not score in the walk-trot-canter competition to slip back to sixth heading into the final two events of the competition on Saturday.
