Sophomore Tom Egbers shaved six strokes off his day one score, shooting par, to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf 'A' team to a fourth-place finish on day two of the St. Lawrence University Invitational at the par-72 Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course in Canton, New York on Sunday morning.
Egbers, who shot a 78 on day one improved to shoot a 72 on day two and tie for fifth place in the tournament with Hamilton's Jeremy Benjamin and New York University's Chris Lee.
The Saints 'A' team finished with a combined 637, while the 'B' team combined for 642 in fifth place and the 'C' team claimed seventh shooting a combined 672.
Like on the women's side, NYU took home the win shooting just 23 over par after two rounds. Hamilton and Clarkson rounded out the top three spots, while Hamilton's Milan Matneja took home the individual title.
