St. Lawrence University's women's squash team slipped to 0-3 on the season with losses to 15th-ranked Hamilton College and 19th-ranked Franklin and Marshall at Hamilton.
The Saints, ranked 26th nationally, lost 9-0 to the host Continentals on Friday night with all of the matches decided by 3-0 scores.
Frances Robinson lost 11-6, 11-4, 11-1 at one, Molly Caplan battled Clair Corroon, but lost 11-8, 11-5, 11-8 at two and Kendall Harty dropped 11-4, 11-4 and 11-6 games at three. Mimi O'Connor lost 3-0 at four, Cordelia McHugh lost 11-3, 11-5, 11-5 at five and Patricia Poekel lost to Alexis Lee in three at six. Charlotte Edson, Hannah Corkery and Parker Benedict were beaten at seven, eight and nine and Liz Levering lost an exhibition at 10, with all three games decided by 11-5 scores.
Everyone moved up one position for the Saints against Franklin and Marshall as Caplan, Harty, O'Connor and McHugh all lost in three straight in one through four. Poekel was beaten 3-0 at five and Edson lost 3-0 at six before Benedict won the lone game of the weekend of the Saints, going four games against Tanya Arora at eight in a 3-1 loss. Levering lost 3-0 at nine and Anna Marchand was beaten 3-0 at ten in an exhibition.
The Saints are now off until Jan. 14 for exams and the holidays and will return to action at the Amherst round robin.
