(Canton, N.Y.)- Freshman Jessica Reynolds (Oakville, Ontario) has been named the USCAA Player of the Week in women’s volleyball.
The outside and middle hitter was named to the all-tournament team at the Oswego Invitational Oct. 8-9 after leading the Roos to a 2-2 weekend with 42 kills, 15 digs and seven aces in 13 sets.
Reynolds nailed 12 kills with four aces and four digs in a 3-0 win over Utica College and also had 15 kills and three digs in a 3-0 win over Morrisville State College.
Reynolds leads the Roos in kills with 2.7 per game, which also ranks 13th in the USCAA, and is tied for the team lead in service aces with 43.
This is the second the Roos have had a player honored as freshman setter Mackenzie (Churchville, N.Y.) was named Setter of the Week on Sept. 13.
