(West Palm Beach, Fla.)- The SUNY Canton men’s baseball team pounded out seven hits, including three doubles in a 10-3 loss to Northwood Universityin a single nine inning game Wednesday afternoon in Palm Beach, Fla.
Freshmen Danny Perez (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Jordan Hunneyman (Redwood, N.Y.) and Will McIntyre (Ottawa, Ontario) each doubled for the Roos on Wednesday. Hunneyman was 2-for-4 and drove in a run and Perez also scored a run.
Tyler Durward (Ottawa, Ontario) made his second start of the week on the mound for the Roos (0-9) and the junior recorded five strikeouts and surrendered nine hits and four walks in eight innings.
Robbie Jones, Josh Leo and Kevin Johnson each had two hits and two RBIs to lead the Seahawks.
