(Auburndale, Fla.)- The SUNY Canton baseball team lost to Rochester Institute of Technology 22-1 Wednesday afternoon at Lake Myrtle Park Field #3 in Auburndale, Fla.
Freshman Eddy Morel (Lake Worth, Fla.) laced a pair of singles and drove in a run to lead the Roos (0-5). Freshman Kyle Sacks (Clifton Park, N.Y.) went 1-for-2 with a double and a run, and freshman Kevin Hill (Deerfield Beach, Fla.) added a single.
Senior Zach Rosenthal (Miami, Fla.) struck out four batters in 4 1/3 innings.
Next up for the Roos on their spring training trip is a single game against Alma College on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 2:30 p.m. on Chain of Lakes Park Field #1 in Winter Haven, Fla.
