First-year Dottie Anderson posted her career-best finish in the women's 3.8-kilometer freestyle to help lead the St. Lawrence University Nordic Ski Team on day two of the Williams College Carnival at the Prospect Ski Center in Woodford, Vermont on Saturday.
Anderson completed the course in 10 minutes and 2.2 seconds to earn 21 points for the Saints and eight NCAA points. Sophomore Lucy Hochscharter recorded the best finish for the women, finishing 21st in 9:59.4, earning 23 points and 10 NCAA points.
Hochschartner ended the weekend with 68 NCAA points on the season.
Timothy Cunningham posted the top result for the men's squad, skiing the men's 3.8-kilometer course in 9:03.2 to earn 11 points. George-Henry Werowinski and Matthew Young combined for 16 points for the Scarlet and Brown.
At the end of day two, the women recorded an eighth-place finish, while the men finished 12th.
The Saints will travel to the Rickert Touring Center in Middlebury, Vermont for the Middlebury College Carnival/ NCAA Eastern Regionals on February 23-24.
