Sarah Moon posted her first collegiate cross country win, and the St. Lawrence University women's cross country team placed five runners in the top-seven to run away with the team title at the Cardinal Classic at Plattsburgh State on Saturday morning.
Moon covered the five-kilometer course in 18 minutes, 42.8 seconds, finishing 10 seconds ahead of teammate Caroline Driscoll, who was second.
The Saints won the team title with 20 points. Clarkson was second in the four-team meet with 49, while Plattsburgh State had 68 points and SUNY Potsdam had 113.
