Middlebury, VT – Sophomores Joseph Kozlowski and Brent Reid of the Clarkson University Swimming & Diving team spent the last four months breaking program records that have stood for two decades, and the duo spent Friday trying to reach the national stage when they competed at the NCAA Division III Diving Regional hosted by Middlebury College.
Twenty-one divers participated in the 1-meter dive on Friday at Middlebury, and the group will return to action for the 3-meter event on Saturday afternoon.
Kozlowski finished in ninth place among the 21 competitors with a score of 410.70 points while Reid finished 16th with a tally of 368.65 points. The point totals are reflected upon 11 dives.
Connor Brisson of New York University led the group with a score of 510.00 points, while spots two through eight varied from 480.55 down to 453.15.
