Junior Brendan LaFleur (Sandown, NH) was the top finisher for the Clarkson University Golf team at the 2010 Liberty League Championship held at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, NY on Saturday and Sunday.
LaFleur shot a 77 on Sunday, to follow up his 83 on Saturday to finish tied for 23rd in the championship with a two-day score of 160 on the par-72 course.
The Golden Knights placed 5th in the seven-team championship with a team score of 659 over the weekend. Skidmore College won the championship, shooting 588 for the tournament. The University of Rochester, which hosted the event, finished second with a score of 594 overall. Renssealer was third over all with a total of 615 strokes for 36 holes. St. Lawrence finished fourth (618), Hobart sixth (663), and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy seventh (706).
