Former Golden Knight Conroy promoted to Calgary Flames Assistant GM

After a lengthy career in the National Hockey League as a standout forward, Clarkson University Hockey Alumnus Craig Conroy '94 is making a name for himself in the Calgary Flames front office and was recently promoted to Assistant General Manager for the franchise.

The Potsdam, NY native just completed his third season as Special Assistant to the General Manager with the Flames. He began his career in management upon retirement in February 2011 from an illustrious playing career in which he amassed 1009 games including 507 of those games in a Calgary uniform.

Conroy who starred for the Golden Knights from 1990-94, played his first NHL game on February 15, 1995 with the Montreal Canadiens at the Hartford Whalers.
