One of the top lines in NCAA Women's Hockey was at it again as the trio of junior left Loren Gabel (Kitchener, ONT), sophomore center Michaela Pejzlova (Pardubice, Czech. Rep.) and freshman right wing Elizabeth Giguere (Quebec City, QUE) accounted for all the Golden Knights scoring in Clarkson University's 3-1 win at Harvard on Friday evening.

Ranked second in the national polls, Clarkson extended the longest current winning streak in the country to nine games by opening a four-game road trip with a solid effort in Cambridge, MA to reached the 20-win mark overall for the seventh consecutive season, improving to 20-3-1. The Green and Gold stand in first place in ECAC Hockey with an 11-2 league mark. The Knights play at Dartmouth on Saturday in a 3:00 p.m. game in Hanover, NH.

Clarkson outshot Harvard (8-9-1, 6-6-1) 32-25, but struggled on the power play going 0-of-6 with the man-advantage. The Crimson went scoreless in their lone power-play opportunity.

Clarkson's freshman sensation, Giguere, put Clarkson on the scoreboard first with her 17th goal of the season, finishing off an assist from Pejzlova at 13:06 of the opening period.

The Knights made it 2-0 on Gabel's 18th of the year with Pejzlova picking up her second assist of the night and 16th helper of the season at 7:08 of the middle frame.

Harvard got one back early in the third with Kaitlin Tse's goal at 5:50.

Pejzlova, however, closed out the Knights' road win, extending their unbeaten streak over the Crimson to eight games (5-0-3) with her 18th of the year at 8;23 with Gabel assisting.

Senior Shea Tiley (Owen Sound, ONT) made 24 saves to record her 99th career win in the Clarkson crease.
