After splitting a non-conference home-and-home series with Syracuse University over the past two weekends, Clarkson returns to ECAC Hockey action hosting archrival St. Lawrence University in a Tuesday night game at Cheel Arena.

The Golden Knights, guided by third-year co-head coaches Matt and Shannon Desrosiers and assistant coach Matt Kelly, own a 4-7-1 overall record and are 2-0-0 in conference play. Clarkson saw its three-game winning streak come to an end this past Friday when Syracuse gained a 3-1 victory at Cheel. The Green and Gold defeated the Orange in the first ever meeting between the programs, winning 3-2 in central NY on November 5. Clarkson began ECAC Hockey play on October 29-30 by sweeping Union (3-0) and Rensselaer (2-1) in Potsdam.

Junior Juana Baribeau, who saw her six-game point-scoring streak come to an end on Friday, leads Clarkson in scoring with eight points on three goals and five assists through 12 games. Baribeau is looking to become the next Golden Knight to reach the century mark with 78 career points (39-39) through 88 career games.

After scoring just one goal as a rookie, Danielle Skirrow has tallied a team-high five goals in her sophomore campaign. Senior Melissa Waldie, who has 101 career points, has tallied three goals and one assists this season. Sophomore defenseman Hailey Wood has enjoyed a solid effort on the blueline along with a productive showing offensively with one goal and three assists. Junior Brittany Mulligan and freshman Jamie Lee Rattray have posted four assists each.

Senior Lauren Dahm has seen the bulk of the action in the Clarkson crease, starting 10 of the 12 games. She posts a .915 save percentage, a 2.68 goals against average and a 3-6-1 record. Freshman Erica Howe has played in parts of five games, with two starts, and holds a .929 save percentage, a 1.64 GAA and one shutout.

St. Lawrence leads the overall series 12-6-3, but since the start of last season, the Knights have gone 4-2-1 against their archrival. Clarkson skated to a 1-1 tie at Cheel on October 15 and then earned its first win ever over the Saints in Canton with a 3-2 triumph on October 16.

St. Lawrence comes into tonight’s game playing its best hockey of the season. The Saints extended their current unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1) after an impressive weekend series against 6th-ranked Boston College in Canton. St. Lawrence handed the highly-rated Eagles their first loss of the season on Friday, skating to a convincing 7-3 win at Appleton Arena. On Saturday, SLU and Boston College battled to a 1-1 tie. St. Lawrence, which last suffered defeat on October 29, 3-2 at home to Rensselaer, owns a 4-5-2 overall record and a 1-1 ECAC Hockey mark.
