With the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team beginning Liberty League play this weekend when it hosts Hobart College, plenty of excitement had already aligned with the Golden Knights' program. More notoriety came its way on Friday as the game between the Golden Knights and the ninth-ranked Statesmen, scheduled for a 2:00 pm start at Hantz Turf Field on the campus of Clarkson University, was highlighted on the NCAA Division III Facebook page.

As the academic year and fall sports season begin, the NCAA will be using Facebook polls to generate excitement for a wide variety of Division III institutions and sports. The NCAA asks and encourages student-athletes, athletic department and general student body to show their support by voting for your school’s team.
