PLATTSBURGH -- Freshman Erika Chin (Katy, TX) recorded a double-double with 13 digs and 10 assists as the Clarkson University Volleyball team continued to its outstanding start with a 25-11, 25-12, 25-12 sweep of Plattsburgh State Tuesday night at Memorial Hall.

The Golden Knights moved to 9-0 on the season, only the second time in school history that Clarkson has began a campaign unbeaten through nine matches. Plattsburgh fell to 1-7 on the year.

Clarkson had little trouble with the Cardinals in the midweek match, gaining six-point advantages very early on in each set. The victory was Clarkson's seventh straight victory over Plattsburgh, as the Green and Gold has lost one one set in the past 22 against the Cardinals.

Junior Sara Artus (St. Regis Falls, NY) led the team with 13 kills against just two errors in 25 swings (.440 hitting percentage), while Rachel Simons (Webster, NY) added nine kills with a single error in only 15 swings (.533 hitting percentage).

It proved to be a theme for the Knights in the match as Clarkson hit .317 overall and five different players recorded six kills or more. Freshman setter Lani Durio (Austin, TX) had 20 assists and seven digs in just two sets
