POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University Alpine Ski team is holding an Individual/Team Triathalon as a fundraiser on Saturday, October 16, 2010.
The event will require a 400-meter swim in the Fuller Pool, an 11.6 mile bike ride, and a 5-K run. Participants can compete individually or as a team.
Registration will begin at 7:15 am with a start time of 8:00 am on Saturday, October 16th, beginning at the Andrew Schuler Recreation Building (Fitness Center) attached to Clarkson's Alumni Gymnasium. The swim will be in Fuller Pool, the bike ride will start behind the gymnasium out to South Canton Road and back to Baghdad Road, and the run will take place on the campus trails.
Cost for Clarkson students is $20 for individuals, $30 for teams, and for non-Clarkson students the cost will be $30 for individuals and $45 for teams. Registration is urged to be in advance, though same day registration is available for an additional $5.00 fee.
