HOW IT HAPPENED
Josh Ward earns his first win as SUNY Canton head coach on Saturday afternoon thanks to multiple standout performances by the Roos.
The Roos held the lead for the duration of the game, leading 19-12 after the first quarter. They then went on a 10 point run to start off the second quarter and led 53-41 at the end of the half.
Along with Chambers efforts, Breanna Cullers and Jenifer Morgan-Aubin added to the scoreboard with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Teammates Sadé Rogers scored 10 points while Autumn Watkins secured seven rebounds.
Kaylee Ravalgi posted 18 points for Thomas.
The Roos led the Terriers in field goal percentage 42% to 29%, three-point percentage 56% to 27%, and free throw percentage 87% to 54%.
