Junior Aimee Caligiore shots rounds of 78 and 79 on the 5826-yard par-71 Taconic Golf Club at Williams College and finished third in the 56-player Williams Fall Classic.

Caligiore, who recorded top-five finishes in each of the five fall tournaments for the Saints was one stroke out of second and six off the two-round pace set by Flora Weeks of Middlebury, who was medalist with a 76-76-151 total. Only five players broke 80 on the tough Taconic course, which featured very fast greens, and Caligiore, Weeks and Georgiana Salant of Williams were the only players to shoot in the 70s in both rounds.

The Saint team finished fifth in a 10-team field, shooting best-of-four totals of 354 and 365 for a 719 total. Host Williams won the event with 646 with Middlebury second at 665, Amherst third at 691 and Vassar fourth at 695.

Senior Melissa Snizek was the second Saint finisher with rounds of 89 and 86 for a 175 total and 19th place while Kelly Hale was 31st with rounds of 88 and 98 for a 186 total, and Maddie Moore shot 99 and 102 for a 201 total and was 43rd.

The Saints concluded the fall portion of their schedule with the tournament.
