Senior captain Amanda Boulier scored with 4:08 remaining in regulation to pull the St. Lawrence women's hockey team even with No. 3 Boston College 2-2 on Saturday afternoon and help the Saints secure a point in the weekend series.

Two initial shots by first-year Kennedy Marchment were stopped by Eagles netminder Katie Burt, but she couldn't control the rebound and Boulier came up the middle as a BC defender knocked Marchment to the ice and tucked the puck under Burt's pads for her first goal of the season. Initially the officials ruled no goal, but after reviewing the play, awarded the game-tying tally to the Saints captain.

Carmen MacDonald was stellar in net once again for St. Lawrence, making 32 stops on Saturday and 73 total in the weekend series.

"Great resolve and resiliency by both teams this afternoon," Head Coach Chris Wells said. "It was a fun atmosphere to be in and our kids had a blast playing."

The Saints took their first lead of the weekend midway through the first period on a goal by senior assistant captain Kayla Raniwsky; her first of the year. Fellow senior Amanda Boulier took a cross ice pass from junior Dominique Korakianitis, skated in from the blue line and took a wrist shot from the hashmarks that was saved by Burt. The rebound popped back out on the Boulier's stick are she cut across the crease and tipped the puck to the opposite post to Raniwsky who put it away to give the Saints the 1-0 lead.

It would remain 1-0 in favor of St. Lawrence for the next 20 minutes, until Boston College was able to put two behind MacDonald in a matter of just 49 seconds to take a 2-1 lead midway through the second. Andie Anastos scored the first goal for the Eagles on a rebound and Haley Skarupa who came flying down the wing to finish a cross-crease pass from Kristyn Capizzano. Alex Carpenter also picked up an assist on the play for the Eagles.

"BC does so many things well on all levels," Wells added. "We had plenty of bounces go our way to get this result today. Carpenter had a fantastic weekend, starting with her effort and her team followed her. Our games are always exciting with them and this weekend didn't disappoint."

Burt finished with 18 saves for the Eagles.

The Saints are home again next weekend for a two-game set with Robert Morris. Friday's game is schedule to start at 3:30, while puck drop on Saturday will be at 2 p.m.
